Boston Harborfest Fireworks Return for 2023!

Boston Harborfest fireworks are back again for 2023! On Saturday July 1st, at 9:15PM, the fireworks will be launched from a barge near Long Wharf.

While the Boston waterfront offers various locations to view the fireworks, including downtown, East Boston, Charlestown, and Seaport, I have curated a list of my preferred spots for enjoying the fireworks and capturing photographs.

My top choice is the East Boston waterfront, which provides a stunning vantage point to behold the magnificent Boston skyline. Notable locations along the Eastie waterfront include LoPresti Park, any area along E Pier Drive, Piers Park, and the Hyatt Harborside Hotel at Logan Airport.

Here's a helpful tip: if you park in the hotel's lot, you can have your parking validated at the hotel bar. Take advantage of their outdoor patio overlooking the skyline to relax before, during, or after the fireworks, while savoring some drinks and food.

Another excellent option is Fan Pier Park in Boston's Seaport area. Although it lacks the skyline directly behind the fireworks, it still offers a fantastic view.

If you’d like to be close to the barge, head over to Long Wharf or Christopher Columbus Park in the North End.
